Art song
Bridget curates, produces, and performs art song programs throughout Chicago. She is the co-founder of Chicago-based Fourth Coast Ensemble, serves as Vocal Arts Associate for Chicago Fringe Opera, and is a two-time recipient of the Vocal Chamber Music Fellowship from Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago. Bridget trained with art song teachers Martin Katz, Michelle DeYoung, Craig Terry, and Shannon McGinnis, among others.
Opera
Bridget's professional stage credits include Opera Steamboat (The Cunning Little Vixen), Chicago Folks Operetta (Ball at the Savoy), Chicago Fringe Opera (Love Wounds; The Great God Pan), and Pittsburgh Festival Opera (A Little Night Music). She holds a BM and MM from Oklahoma City University, where she sang Flora/La Traviata, Prince Orlofsky/Die Fledermaus, and Secretary/The Consul.
Yoga
A seasoned yoga instructor, Bridget teaches regular group classes, special workshops, and private clients in Chicago. She has trained under Tiffany Cruickshank (25-hr Yoga for Athletes, 2019; 60-hr Yin and Meditation, 2018; 60-hr Shoulder Module, 2017) and Diana Oppenheim (Corepower Yoga, 200-hr Power Yoga, 2012). Bridget writes a blog called Meditation & Melismas exploring the crossover between the ancient practice of yoga and the contemporary classical singer's career.
